National Testing Agency (NTA) is an Indian governmental organization that conducts the entrance exam for admission to higher educational institutes. NTA was constructed by the Ministry of Education (MoE) that aims to reform the education system on a large scale.

Around 45 central universities consider the CUET exam score for admission to an undergraduate degree program.

Yes, it is compulsory to clear the 12th board exam to get admission to a CUET-participating university because multiple universities consider 12th board marks plus CUET exam marks.

4.   How many sections and questions are there in the CUET exam?

There are three sections in the CUET exam: language, program-specific and general test. The language section carries 50 questions, out of which you need to attempt 40 questions. The program-specific section takes 50 questions, out of which you need to attempt 40 questions. The general test section carries 75 questions, of which you must attempt only 60.

5.   What is the marking pattern of the CUET exam?

There will be 13 languages in section 1, including Odiya, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Gujarati and 20 languages, including Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Sanskrit in section 2.
